Subliminal Legacy

Subliminal Legacy is a Portuguese metal band formed in 2009 by lead singer maTeo, bassist Fained and drummer Sixxen. Guitarist NkCell joins the band, in the same year, and became a full member in 2012. The name Subliminal Legacy, is the aproach the band takes on art, the band says that art should be interpretive and their music is their legacy. After playing a couple of live shows, the band released their first EP untitled ExPerience, which spawn a tour arround the country, which took the band to the most acclaimed stages on the underground metal scene in Portugal. Their music takes influences from diferente sub genders of the metal scene, with a lot of synthesizers and orchestrations, all written with a modern pop aproach, which results in a catchy, yet dark and heavy form of metal. Their lyrics aproach the dark side of human nature, their flaws, week points, and turn them into a glamorized acceptance. The band also haves a strong visual component on their artwork and live shows, in order to give the crowd a visualisation of their sound.
