Francis Farmer Band Biography

Francis Farmer is a Toronto based Rock band with roots dating back to 2009. Originally founded by Leonard F. Farmer III, the musical project began in the singer/songwriter vein of acoustic rock with a harder edge. The sound and personnel have since evolved to become a full on rock band with a familiar, yet unique combination of Modern Hard Rock, Classic/Alternative Rock and 90's Grunge.


The addition of Bassist - Anthony Delle Rose (aka Joel Flowers) - and Drummer - Joel Ruscinski - have added new groove, dynamic and vibe to Farmer's distinct style of writing and composition. The Trio are currently in post production of their new EP, Rebirth: Chapter 2, with their new single, ‘Misguided Foundation’, scheduled for public release on April 20, 2018.


Drawing from influences like Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Thrice and Arctic Monkeys (to name a few), the band showcases a raw, sexy presence whilst performing. Interacting with the crowd and engaging fans through call and response creates an environment conducive to sing and dance. Francis Farmer doesn’t just play songs, they put on a show; a big band feel in a small room.


Each band member is unique with skill sets and abilities that contribute to the symbiotic nature of the band. Though seemingly different, the common denominator amongst Francis Farmer is their passion for music and the fortitude to pursue their dream to create, to share, to connect and to perform for the masses all over the world; THE DREAM TO BE ROCKSTARS.


To date, the band has one studio album, "Illusive Dreamscapes", which was released in 2011, a 2013 B-Side release entitled, "Be Calm, Be Still" and in January of 2017, Francis Farmer launched their EP, Rebirth: Chapter 1.
