The Convicts have escaped from the prison of the 9-5. Their theatrical brand of Folk-Punk-Ska has been cultivating a rebellious spirit amongst paupers and lawyers alike to throw down their shackles and dance to their raucous radical rhythm. The Convicts are your heavy dose of Ska, filled with blood harmonies and lightening fast rhythms, punctuated by horns to knock your socks off. Their addictive melodies are splashed with gravel vocals straight outa 1920’s downtown Chicago. Their music bounces between a laid back blues swing style and unique punk rock gypsy rhythms. The Convicts pour gallons of onstage energy into the crowd, seducing them into a skanking frenzy with radioactive showmanship. A known player in the southwest ska scene, They are currently smashing gigs in all the major venues in Bristol and beyond.
