NateKodi is a producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who specializes in Hip Hop production. With five years of production experience and multiple projects NateKodi has made a name for himself in the production world. To put it simply, NatKodi is ready to take the music industry by storm with his new and refreshing sound. Born Nathanael Wa Mwenze in Philadelphia and raised in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo NateKodi offers a diverse sound with his production that he began to develop at a young age when he started out as am emcee. The day NateKodi worked with a producer on his first song as an emcee he realized he wanted to produce music. Today he has mastered his craft as well as expresses his creative nature by DJing, rapping, doing graphic art work, shooting videos and writing for blogs. NateKodi attributes his creativity in production to those that have influenced him like Keyboard Kid, Disasterpeace, Diplo, Kanye West, The Neptunes and Harry Fraud. While in the studio you can find NateKodi working with his favorite tools like Cubase, Reason, Native Instruments plugins, Bitcrusher and sometimes ripping music from vinyl and YouTube to use as samples in his production arsenal. NateKodi has used those tools to craft the Lil B song “Broken Dreams” off the emcees Glassface mixtape, released in December of 2012. He is also responsible for a number of quality projects and singles dating back to 2009 including 2012’s Bits N Chips (Chiptune Electonic Hiphop), LB the Beat Tape (instrumentals), LB the Beat Tape (The B-Side) (instrumentals) and more.
