About A Day Overdue

We're a rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. We've been lucky enough to share stages with some of our favourite bands and go on national tours. We've been featured in magazines including Kerrang, Rock Sound, FRONT, Ourzone and Black Velvet, and came 2nd in the 2011 Red Bull Bedroom Jam festival chart. Since forming in 2009 we've played over 250 shows up and down the UK, gone on hiatus twice, broken up once, and drank over 1000 litres of rum. During this time we have seen a few members come and go and had our fair share of disappointments but no matter what happens we somehow find ourselves coming back to this band because we love playing our music, and we hope you'll enjoy listening to it.

Here's what a few important people were kind enough to say about us:

"A warm, melodic pop-punk crunch with a side order of beefy bounciness"
- KERRANG! MAGAZINE

"Effortlessly catchy and energetic... A Day Overdue clearly know what they're aiming for and there's no harm in that - in fact, 'Secrets' is probably all the better for the crystal clear vision the band have."
- ALTER THE PRESS

"Is it to do with pregnancy? Ah who cares, although if they become really successful they will be asked in every interview. That could get annoying... A Day Overdue... it's funny but I love it!"
- ALEX GASKARTH (ALL TIME LOW)

"Their approach to song-writing is exciting... a shining example of what being in a band is all about." - OURZONE MAGAZINE (Album Review) (8/10)

"A slick pop-punk wall of sound carries some nicely crafted vocal melodies. This is all about the songs: the style is almost irrelevant, because this is good writing and it would work in any genre. Great playing throughout, and some nice melodic lead guitar work in particular. An ace band, with bags of energy." - LIVEUNSIGNED.COM (Live Review) (4/5)
