About Splender
Splender was formed in 1990 by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Waymon Boone and bassist James Cruz, who later teamed up with drummer Marc Slutsky and lead guitarist Jonathan Svec.
Splender released thier first album, Halfway Down the Sky, in 1999 with Columbia Records, in addition to two singles, "Yeah, Whatever" and "I Think God Can Explain". In 2002 the band released a second album, To Whom It May Concern, with Clive Davis Jr. Records.
