About The Scarlet Ending

Based out of Syracuse, New York, The Scarlet Ending is comprised of identical twin sisters Kaleena and Kayleigh Goldsworthy. Starting this band as an acoustic project, the twins ventured out of their home in the suburb of Baldwinsville, and began playing shows whenever and wherever they could. From the hallways of their high school before class, to performing with local hardcore and punk bands, The Scarlet Ending was there. Before long, their first demo track, "Someone Else," began to be played on the local radio station (90.5 the buzz), and people began to take notice of them. From the Battle of the Bands at Baker High School, the band began to develop into what some refer to as "ever evolving indie rock."

"The Scarlet Ending isn't just another propped up pretty girl group... These girls are a triple threat, they have the songwriting skills, and voices that carry their message home." - The Redhouse

Their first, self titled ep won a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for best pop record of 2005. In response to this ep, Mark Bialczak of the Syracuse Post Standard exclaimed, Twin sisters Kaleena and Kayleigh Goldsworthy have the voices to make their original songs stand out from the increasingly populated women-with an edge genre of music making. In 2006, The Scarlet Ending released it's first full length cd, Cries and Whispers on SubCat Records. This cd was nominated for a SAMMY, and was also listed in the top 10 cd releases of 2006 (number 3) by the Syracuse Post Standard. Their song, "The Way We Used to Be" was featured on MTV's third season of "The Hills." Expanding their horizons, the band is working on a third release with many surprises. After picking up Jess Hafner on cello, Brian Cooney on bass, Kiel Feher on drums, and Jon Ted on electric guitar, The Scarlet Ending puts on an exhilarating and exciting live show that will leave you wanting more.
