About Epoxy
Epoxy is the remains of 'Explicit Bombers'. Basically adding a bass player and the lead vocalist Dan, moving to guitar, and changing their name, he and his bandmates won't and refuse to stop playing and evolving in their music. Coming from a punk background, this band has come up with some more rock based music, that they expect everyone to be able to enjoy and feel. Dan, Tyler and David started playing music together in garage bands from the age of 12. In 2009 they created a punk rock trio named 'Explicit Bombers' with Dan on bass & lead vocals, Tyler on guitar and David on drums. The band went through much evolution going from a hardcore punk band to a more melodic pop punk group, adding a rhythm guitar player Cody Biroth, to add more depth. They opened for such artists as ska legends the Toasters, thrash band DRI, legendary surf punk band Agent Orange to punk bands the Flatliners and Anti-Flag. In 2013 after a couple tours and about 100 shows in 4 years, Cody decided to leave the band. The band ending its tenure on November 29th, 2013 opening for hardcore punk band Negative Approach and the Casualties. So, they decided to move on and keep going, but, their music and songwriting was changing. It became more of a rock band than a punk band. The outcome is 'Epoxy'. Dan moved to guitar, still singing lead, Tyler plays guitar, David plays drums and they added a new bass player Steven Koscielniak. Music is their passion; It flows through their veins and comes right out in song. This band promises a punch of energy with the melodies and catchy chorus's reminicsent of such artists ranging from the Eagles to Green Day all the way to r&b and hip-hop. They are open to all genres of music. Come out to a show. Support your scene and work hard to keep rock music alive.
