Michael Shaw

My name is Michael Shaw and I have been refining my music skills for over 30 years. For the last 11 years I have made music my lifes work. I have traveled around Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas playing restaurants, bars, festivals, weddings, fundraisers, and cooperate events. Pretty much anywhere that my music takes me.
I am known for my acoustic playing and singing. People say that I am able to take on the voices of some of the greatest artists before me. Some of my musical influences are Johnny Cash, John Denver, Elvis, The Beatles, John Fogerty, Buddy Holly, and so many more.
Music is a part of my soul, and I am blessed to be able to do what I love. To give joy to others by reminding them of something substantial in their life through music will never cease to amaze me.
I hope that when people come to my shows they are able to feel the love and joy that the music makes me feel, and that should listen to the inner child that tells you it's okay to dance if you feel like dancing.
