Cassian was great, played an awesome set and the sound was amazing. But as for the venue, Maya Mexican, it was full of fake plastic posers just there to be seen, probably 80% would not have known who Cassian was, the lights were up the whole time so no ambience, the dj booth was right near the bar creating very limited places to stand to watch and enjoy the music, not to mention a terrible bottleneck of people pushing and shoving to get drinks and go to the bathroom. Maybe its a nice restaurant most of the time - the decor and styling was lovely and the location on the rooftop very nice. But as a place to see a DJ and get lost in the music absolutely don't bother, I definitely wont go again. Stick to places like Wolly Mammoth & LaLaLand, not here.
