Là où "Daisy Street" le premier opus , composé en duo par Ana Berthe et Robin Feix ( Louise Attaque ) , dévoilait une pop intime, colorée et acoustique, "Palladium" révèle un groupe désormais completà l' humeur électrique et libérée envoyant sur orbite les claviers désuets ou futuristesde Michael Garçon ( AS Dragon )et la batterie tantôt organique tantôt électronique deGérard Gacoin ( Vegomatic ) . Si "Palladium" évoque un métal précieux, ce nouvel album n'en demeure pas moins brut : composé entièrement à 4, enregistré en live par le producteur Martin Rushent et mixé par le londonien Craig Silvey, il conforte la volonté de Poney Express, d'explorer -toujours en français- les confins d'une bande son presque exclusivement réservée aux anglo-saxons." As "Daisy Street" the first album, composed by duet Anna BERTHE and Robin FEIX (former bassist of Louise Attaque) spread an intimate, colorful and acoustic pop, "Palladium" reveals a band finally complete, electric and free, sending to orbit the old fashioned or futurist keyboards of Michael GARCON (ex AS Dragon) and Gérard GACOIN's ( ex Vegomatic ) organic or electronic drums. Precious and rough, this new album has been recorded live by producer Martin RUSHENT (The Stranglers, The Buzzcocks, The Human League…), mixed by Craig SILVEY (The Coral, The Horrors, Portishead…) and bring the band to explore -still in french- a playground almost exclusively kept by english bands.
