Leo Sayer

One of the BEST shows I have ever seen. Leo still sings brilliantly. Plus he was so entertaining and engaging with the audience. Leo brought back so many childhood memories and I now realise just how many hit songs he had. We ended up all dancing up the front with Leo shaking hands. A must see performance.

It was a great show. Leo has a brilliant style of entertaining and keeping the show moving. Seeing Leo in concert has been on my bucket list for years. So grateful to see Leo live. I enjoy his sense of humour. The audio engineering was spot on and compliments to the engineer. I must say the Caloundra Events Centre is a great venue with no bad seats. Thanks to Leo, the band members and staff for a great night.

Leo Sayer was great back then, was great at the Mundi Mundi Bash and still great at MPAC on 11th September 2025 - Loved every minute. @ 77 Leo you still have a powerhouse voice.

Leo still has it after all these years. He can play the harmonica really well. He thanked us very much for being at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. First off was 1974's Just A Boy. 1976's Endless Flight followed. Which reminded me i need to get that album. More Than I Can Say followed from 1980. Memories of the Living In A Fantasy tape i used to have, and also 1980 The Summer we used to have on tape as a family. Leo Sayer is such a talented man. Lots of stories. Including one about the next one that followed, Moonlighting. He is also very funny and charming. I was smack bang in the middle, so he would've seen me. I kept playing with my hair, and getting a bit carried away, as if I was about to make love to him. 🤣 For those of you that know me well, i have sometimes unusual taste in men. Not to say that Leo Sayer's not attractive, because he is, in every way. When I Need You was the encore for the first session. Thunder In My Heart from 1977's album of the same name started off the second session. The melancholic Dancing The Night Away from 1978's "Leo Sayer" was after. Orchard Road, another melancholic, was next from 1983's Have You Ever Been In Love. The title track of that followed. Leo got everyone up on the dance floor for You Make Me Feel Like Dancing along with clapping. One Man Band was in there somewhere. Then Long Tall Glasses was next, which is another one of my faves, and then How Much Love. A brilliant musician, Leo Sayer has still got it after all these years, and his voice still proves it. ❤️

I am sure the concert was fantastic but unfortunately I missed it at the Bord Gais Theatre. I completely forgot about it I was out with my daughter in law to be to see her wedding dress so sad

Leo was a 10/10 performance. He just kept on doing hit after hit and his voice was as good as ever and he looked very well . You know it’s a good gig when everyone is singing along and it was really nice to hear all around the theatre. We loved every minute of the show and he comes across as a very nice humble guy who is in sync with his audience Ps he still has the curly hair !

This was probably one of the best shows we have been at. From start to finish, Leo and his excellent bend entertained us with loads of great memories of his 70s and later hits. His voice was so like when he burst onto the scene in 1973. If I had to pick a section, his performance and songs after the intervale were just unbelievable. He had the packed Wexford Opera House audiences eating out of his hands. Paul and Bernie Dunne Waterford Ireland. .

Great to see Leo Sayer. Venue good , staff really friendly. Not good use made of open air area beside bar. It contained lots of dustbins which wasn't nice especially on a hot day. Also 7.30pm very early start on a hot summer evening. Bar persons great given the circumstance. Venue looked great. Only my 2nd time there. May go again.

We were due to fly out to Australia on 9th October 2024 and thought 'I wonder if Leo Sayer is touring and we can get to see him whilst we were over there? Blow me down with a feather, it so happened the great man was here touring here in the UK. Could not believe our luck and booked to see him at Worthing on Saturday 7th October. Last saw him in the 1990's in Croydon and what can I say about this show? Leo you were absolutely blooming fantastic, brilliant vocals and fabulous show. Had a number of teenagers sitting behind us (we are in our 60's and 70's) and heard them say it was the best show they had ever been to. Please come back again next year Leo as we can't wait to see you.

Royal Concert Hall, Leo Sayer Myself and my 3 sisters and our Terry family friend, had a brilliant time watching leo as always, never lets us down and the band that hes got are superb....Leo you still have it lol...hopefully we all get to see you in 2025..keep rocking :) x

I first saw Leo Sayer play live at the Hammersmith Odeon in October 1975 and have caught most of his tours since then. So last night was 'our' 49th anniversary and a homecoming gig for the boy who grew up in nearby Shoreham. This was the second time we have seen him at Worthing Assembly Hall and Leo makes no secret of his memories. He came here himself as a teenager to see bands like John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream and Jon Hiseman's Colliseum. At about the same age as my friends and I were 'letting ourselves in' the fire exit doors of the Hammy Odeon, Leo Sayer had been doing the same in Worthing. Throughout the show, Leo points the locals to locations that feature in so many of his songs. Moonlighting was a true story of a couple who eloped to Gretna Green and they'd all met at the Mexican Hat club in Montague Steeet. Leo breaks it to us that the song is all true, but for the lie at the end. The girl's father was a senior police officer and was able to get Carlisle police to stop them, just as they thought they were "10 miles from Gretna, they're 300 behind". While the name Leo Sayer conjures up for many pierrot make-up, going commercial in his Hollywood years and refusing to be seen washing his own underpants on Celebrity Big Brother, I am still going back time and again to witness the sheer power of his voice and performance. While some have found their voices fade away due to abuse, sheer age or illness, Leo Sayer genuinely belts out the songs. With all the worry about energy, Kier Starmer should nationalise Leo Sayer's lungs. This isn't some hits tour, replicating the songs you'd hear played by Ken Bruce. The new single Wonderworld is going up the Heritage Chart and DJ Mike Read was in the audience to check Leo out. When I Need You has become a blues workout, Long Tall Glasses is introduced as rock'n'roll. The encore The Show Must Go On has been completely transformed into a totally different song, as if Leo's creative energies aren't sated by repetition when there's a new tune to be mined. There are plenty of tender moments. Have You Ever Been In Love and I Can't Stop Loving You had me shed tears, while the 50th anniversary of the Just A Boy album had songs that haven't been heard in almost that long. But I am in sheer awe of how powerful Leo is across two one-hour sets, fronting a great band of English musicians (Leo has settled in Australia now) with a phenomenally clear sound balance. The tour closes at the London Palladium and would be worth going to if you're in the area. Bravo Leo Sayer!

What a star Leo Sayer was on Friday evening at the Bournemouth Pavilion. He is still energetic as he was in the 70s and can still belt out a tune with his wonderful voice. It was a absolute pleasure listening to his back catalogue and a couple of new tracks from the New album.

Seeing Leo Sayer in concert was a dream come true. The venue was terrific! The ONLY thing I would say that would have made it better is if the chairs on the floor were staggered. I sat behind a big tall man and he blocked my view for most of the show. So I leaned to look between him and the person sitting next to him. It was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, Leo's voice was top notch and he put on quite a show!

Excellent Concert. Got meet Mr. Sayer after the show and get his autograph on 45 collector’s picture disc. That was only released in the UK. He was a very nice person !! It was an honor to meet him. Jon Louisville, Ky

I have always wanted to see Leo Sayer and it was worth the wait. He is an amazing entertainer and his voice is still incredible. He is only doing a short four stop tour in the US and we were fortunate enough to catch him in Florida. He has so many songs with many of them not being well know in the states but I think that is fixing to change. He hinted to coming back for more tour dates and if he does my wife and I will see him again. Leo is a must see concert!

I didnt realise it would be about 6 six artists all in one show, I thought it was just Leo Sayer. Leo was great. But, unfortunately, for him, lol, he comes second to John Paul Young, who was excellent. I would say 'I grew up with JPY', as 'they' say. John, seems he has always been there, both in my youth and adult times. Leo was in my youth. The overall show was wonderful. I went on the 'spare of the moment'. 'Covid fatigue', life fatigue, but this was sure a 'pick me up' show. Kate Cebrano had equipment glitches but that didnt seem to stop the crowd from spurring her on and having a good time. 😍 😁 🙂 😆 Wonderful. 👌 👌

Leo never disappoints I’ve been a fan since the 70’s and have been going to see him whenever he is on tour in the UK. He still has so much energy, even though nearly 71, and as he says he is still ‘Just a boy’. I can highly recommend one of his shows to anybody. The band was excellent as well, especially the lead guitarist.
