About Caliche
Composed of a rogues gallery of New England talent, Caliche pulls from influences as varied and vibrant as the band themselves. From Thom Yorke to Tom Waits, the Blasters to the Bad Seeds, Steve Earle to Sonic Youth, and back again, Caliche’s sound challenges conventional ideas of Americana by infusing elements of indie, folk, art rock, and proto punk. Caliche is George Barber and Andrew Johnson (VILLAINS), Charlie Chronopoulos, Wyn Doran (2021 NH Music Album of the Year Nominee), Derek Fimbel (Double Crossers), and features multi-instrumentalist Jared Rocco.
