There are at least two bands called Trainwreck. One from Germany and one from the US:
TRAINWRECK is a downtuned hardcore/screamo band from Germany. They consist of members of ex- Engrave and Eaves. They started rehearsing in octobre 2005 and in january 2006 they recorded their first 12" which was released by Yskalnari Records. Their first shows were also played in january/february 2006. They toured Europe and America after that, releasing a split LP with Comadre on React With Protest in 2007 and making another US tour.

The band is described as being part of Tenacious D's family[1], in that Gass, Konesky and Spiker all play for Tenacious D. In addition, Jason Reed has also played a fundamental role in Tenacious D's 2006-07 Tour. Throughout the majority of the film Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny, Gass wears a Trainwreck T-shirt.
