The Devil & Me

Musicians Tim Drake, Adam Smith, and Trevor Butler came together in late 2012 to form The Devil & Me. All natives to San Francisco's East Bay, each member developed musically though separate influences. Tim's country and classic rock influence brings a down to earth guitar tone to the collaboration, while Adam's hard rock and metal influence brings a poly-rhythmic style to his drum playing, at the same time Trevor's punk and pop-punk influence creates a powerful bass bridge. Adam and Trevor first met in 2006 when they were introduced by long time friend Justin Esposo. The three of them formed a band and started feeling each other out musically and socially. In 2009 when the trio decided to call it quits the band dissolved but the friendship remained. Then in 2012 when Adam and Tim, both coworkers at the Concord Guitar Center, decided to form a band Adam mentioned Trevor as a possible bass player. Immediately the three of them clicked and The Devil & Me was formed. To date The Devil & Me have played in bars and small clubs throughout the East Bay and will be looking to expand to bring our music to more and more fans.
