Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, RichoKidd, born Joshua Aaron Richardson, is a multi-talented hip hop performer who's been ingrained in the local hip hop community since early 2008.

With his first taste of Australian Rap coming from the likes of Hunter, Matt B & Downsyde; RichoKidd was always destined to cement himself a place within the incredibly tight-knighted Perth Hip Hop community. Having earned the respect of some of Perth's original Hip Hop Pioneers, and having been encouraged by the beloved Huntz before his untimely passing. Through this encouragement, and becoming accepted by his peers, Richo felt confident enough to step away from the decks & mixer, and he began writing his own music, eventually recording and releasing his very first mixtape in late 2014.

Upon releasing his first mixtape, entitled Next Level. The multi-skilled MC decided to take a brief hiatus from releasing music, and has spent the last 3 plus years earning a well deserved rep, as one of Perth's best Hip Hop DJ's, with a plethora of sets across the state, supporting local acts like; Downsyde (ClassicILL Preview Party), Optamus (The Godfather Tour), Drapht (Urban Jungle), Omac (Day vs Night Launch & Halloween @ The Brook) and STiLL J (Out Here Launch), he has even opened for a few East Coast MC's like; JohniePee (PER/SYD), Hyjak (SYD) & Spit Syndicate (SYD) [For Urban Jungle] & even scored his first international show, opening for Futuristic on his Perth show of his World Tour & DJing for Beechey at Brother Ali & Atmosphere, all within the last 18 months!

After spending five years opening for a proverbial 'who's-who' list of the Local Hip Hop Royalty, RichoKidd has finally began work on his forever-promised, long-awaited, DEBUT ALBUM. With no confirmed title or release date, no new singles & a busy DJ schedule, who knows what Richo has in store for us when he steps back into the booth?
