James Heaton

James Heaton is a guitarist specializing in instrumental lead guitar in the style of Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, and Gary Moore. James started playing at as 12, after hearing EVH on Mtv. He moved onto Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Later he discovered Hendrix after hearing Sting perform Little Wing. He played in the band Yuk Foo in Savannah Ga. in 1990. One of two opening acts for the Black Crowes. Started playing after a medical leave from music in 2003. Played with Existant, recorded "Debutante" and toured briefly. The band disbanded in 2008. He has played with the Screaming Mimi's, Funk Bunny, Secondlife and many many other bands that have been lost at sea. Currently working a new album and playing locally.
