What a brilliant evening. A wonderful interview, I could have sat and listened to Nick and Graham chatting all night. Then we spent 45 minutes listening to Pelican West, it sounded like it had just been recorded the day before and not actually 40 years ago! It never ages just like Nick and Graham. What a lovely surprise to have them both play Fantastic Day and Love Plus One. A short question time with the audience too. A splendid evening. Thank you 🥰

So how good was that? Only bought my ticket at 10am today and so glad I did. Nick fronted an 8-piece band with brass section and simply rocked the joint. Take That Situation opened the set as a manifesto, a statement of intent - "Take that situation and put it right", indeed. Brilliant to hear On A Sunday (love that song) fleshed out by a full band, together with Blue Hat For A Blue Day. Hit after hit, the set had absolutely no filler. As an encore, Nick Heyward played Sounds From The Street by the Jam and Fantastic Day. So many memories made unreal by their author Nick Heyward who never looks any older than when he wrote them.
