About Finlay Morton
Songwriter/Musician Finlay Morton hails from Aberdeen Scotland but sounds like he was born on Highway 61. His voice hints at JJ Cale and Bob Dylan at their rootsiest best. Folk, Rock, Blues with a mesmerizing helping of Gospel and some Country Grandeur, provide a haunting and compelling backdrop to his tales of pain, loss and mortality, that are eased by his natural bittersweet humour. Finlay has just completed his second album, Back To Basics, which has been produced and mixed by John Ryan at his studios in Los Angeles.
