Loved hearing Tim and the band! Great atmosphere. Fantastic new songs. Loved the country vibe. With a bit of samba just for fun. Wonderful re-interpretation of old faves using different tempos and new instruments. Mooorrreee please.

Very much enjoyed the show. Great intimate venue although the outdoor heating could have been turned on. The antipasto plate was great.

They still have it! great night out in Kings Park.

Music was great including supporting artists. Venue great with lots character and scenic however food van questionable and inadequate toilets.

The Whitlams gave a fantastic performance. Music of that calibre is much appreciated in a smallish country township. The band members are all highly skilled artisans. The lead singer has a beautiful and harmonious voice. The weather and setting was perfect for an outdoor gig.

The Whitlams were SENSATIONAL! What a fabulous show! Keen to see them again soon!

What a class act. Iconic Aussie band with an iconic lead singer Tim Freedman. Loved every minute of the 2 hours. Venue was perfect., intimate yet a large crowd was present.

I would've given the show 5 stars if I'd been able to hear it all. Sitting up the back made it difficult to hear due to the people who obviously weren't there for the music and talked loudly throughout the whole gig. I saw the Black Stump Band at the Thornbury Theatre a few months ago and loved it, as everyone was respectful of the artists on stage, unlike at the RSL.

Ticket said start 5, but Tim wasn’t on till 8:30! There was no explanation on ticket nor when we arrived at 5.

Beyond the Black Stump, there is Deliverance and beyond that - Devonport... In a nod to the local Returned Servicemens League emerging from the mists of pokies misery, it was perhaps a bridge too far that the sated, seated audience would know the Whitlams repertoire or, indeed, recognise it westernised. The hits got the cheers, the crowd never saw the misses but highlights included the original Kate Kelly, a stark unorchestrated new single; a seering rendition of Randy Newman's Last Night I had a Dream, show casing Ollie's slide guitar and the seldom seen American Grotesque. Charlie 1 and 2 and the haunting Always Keep the Light On (Charlie 2.5) but Tim steered the sing list away from home town city hommages, instead offering a surprising but beautiful piano driven offering to Warren Zevon with Empty Hearted Town - eerily apt for Devonport.

Tim and Ollie where on song. Really enjoyable night in a warm and friendly environment. The Elizabeth beach Recreation Club and staff provided great food and excellent service. Combined this with an excellent performance from Tim and Ollie made for a memorable night which started with a great sunset over the beach.. Tim and Ollie worked their individual musicianship into a harmonised walk through all the great Whitlam tunes. “Thank You”…

Great night, very intimate little theatre. Tim and the band had great energy and connected well with the audience. Tim’s voice is amazing.

What an inviting little club, The band were firing on all fours and Tim Freedman was at his absolute best, a fun filled night with lots of Tim sarcasm. He and Terepai were joined by Rod McCormack, Matt Fell and Ollie Thorpe on the slide guitar, putting a real ' country' feel to some Whitlams classics plus a few more additions. Highly recommended . Look forward to the Eternal Nightcap tour this September.

I've only heard rave reviews about The Whitlams so I went to see for myself. The group I went with were all new to The Whitlams and we loved them. They were AMAZING! Great music, charismatic and very entertaining.

The show was absolutely AMAZING and worth waiting two years for (thanks to covid). The Whitlams never disappoint and always give the absolute best performance and I was in heaven! Managed to get right down to the front to sing along to every word and they showcased their new album Sancho which is brilliant and fast becoming one of my favourites! I'm still on a high and wish I could see them every day, I'd never get sick of seeing them perform! They still give as good as they ever did!!!! I'm in awe I think it's one of the best Whitlams gigs I have ever been to and there have been many!!!!!
