Different from most Symphonic Metal bands, TEMPERANCE brings together no less than three
vocalists, all adding their own style and flavor to the ensemble. The combination of Kristin Starkey’s
potent contralto voice, the strong timbre of Michele Guaitoli, and the rough vocals of mastermind and
guitarist Marco Pastorino make TEMPERANCE stand out completely. With millions of YouTube
views, hymns such as ‘The Last Hope In A World Of Hopes’ or ‘Of Jupiter And Moons’ seem to prove

After releasing their vibrant fifth and sixth full studio albums “Viridian” in 2020 and “Diamanti” in
2021', TEMPERANCE delights their devotees with the new concept album “Hermitage - Daruma's
Eyes Pt. 2”, released on 20 October 2023, via Napalm Records. “Hermitage” tells the story of
protagonist Viktor who wakes up in a magical village, and gets into a fight between the siblings
Anningan and Irin, and Viktor’s destiny is the key to their conflict. Each character is played by a
different singer, with guests singers Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie, Illumishade),
Laura Fella (Faun), and Alessandro Conti (Twilight Force) joining with their own characters. Now
TEMPERANCE gets ready to tell that story in the 4 corners with the Hermitage World Tour!
