In 2007, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst formed W&W, DJ and production duo, and have become one of the most sought-after acts in electronic music.

With their energetic music and festival sets, W&W have dominated dance floors worldwide and ranked in DJ Mag's Top 20 DJs for the past 9 years. They have performed at renowned festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra, EDC, and broke the world record in China with 24 shows in 27 days.

W&W's sound combines uplifting melodies of Trance, intensity of Electro, and the drive of Progressive House, creating a unique and rebellious style. From their early hits like ‘Rave After Rave’ and 'Bigfoot' to recent favorites 'God Is A Girl’, ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’, and ‘Rave Love’ their diverse productions appeal to multiple audiences.

Under their alias NWYR, W&W continue to innovate and release trance-inspired productions. They run Rave Culture, a community-driven record label, and host a bi-weekly radio show with over 300,000 listeners. In 2020, they pioneered an XR augmented reality livestream and expanded it into Rave Culture Live, showcasing their DJ skills and productions. With over 60 shows annually and a massive social media following of over 10 million, W&W are true pioneers in the main stage electronic dance music scene.
