My new album Echo Dancing was released one week ago! If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, today’s a great time to do so—it’s Bandcamp Friday, where 100% of the sale goes to the artist. Thank you for all the continued support! http://10atoms.com/AE-Bandcamp

He’s a national treasure. Fresh, new material and reworked old favorites. Great show.

I have been to about 7 or so of Alejandro's shows and they are always amazing. Great musicians accompanying him, and for this show James Matro on guitar and vocals really filled out the songs beautifully. Every time I have seen Alejandro it's been a very diffeeent experience, from the glam rock Buick MacKane show, to the show with cello and violin accompaniment. Each is special. This tour version was a more rocking one, and he had everyone hooked a few bars into the first song. More energy than bands 1/3 his age. He did mix it up after the first few heavier numbers and showcased the new versions of past favourites from his echo dancing LP. Very new and interesting takes that were highlights of the show for me. Interesting he chose Like A Hurricane for the closer, and was a great way to cap off the evening. Reminded me of another great show, from brothers from a doffeeent mother, Los Lobos, many years ago down at the Toronto waterfront. They closed with a great version of Cinnamon Girl. Hmmmm....
Please come back soon Alejandro!
