Ghost Town Jenny began as the solo project of singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kim Kylland and has evolved into an eclectic live trio. Kylland grew up splitting time between California and Norway, and eventually spent her formative years as a songwriter and performer in Dublin, Ireland before moving to Reykjavik, Iceland, then finally settling down in Oakland, California where she currently studies composition as part of Mills College prestigious music department. Having drawn comparisons to notable acts like Florence & The Machine, Bjork, June Carter Cash, and Andrew Bird, what's more evident when you first hear Ghost Town Jenny is that Kim Kylland possesses her own unique, readily identifiable voice and songwriting style. After charming audiences around the globe with Ghost Town Jenny, from large scale festivals to intimate venues, Kim Kylland is currently working on her first solo effort, to be released under the name KYLLAND in late 2017.
