Christian Walsh

18 year old guitarist Christian Walsh has been playing guitar for most of his life. He got his first guitar at age 5 and has not put it down since. He practices for hours everyday. He spent the first 5 years just practicing in his room. At the age of 10 he played his first talent show during Summerfest in O'Neill, Nebraska. He placed second out of 20 contestants.

A few years later he met George Marshall who played drums for the Manoucheri Trio. Christian and George used to jam in George's basement every Sunday. Then he got invited to play at Angel's Straw Bale Bikefest 2013. This was his first time playing on the bigger stage. He sat in with Manoucheri Trio, The Dirty Word, and the Randall Zwarte Band. After playing at Bikefest he was invited to Chesterfield West in O'Neill to help run the lights for a Halloween show that the Kris Lager Band was playing at. Later that night Christian was called onto stage and played a few blues jams with them. Ever since then Christian has been a regular at Chesterfield West sitting in with band. Christian has played at Angel's Straw Bale Bikefest 2014, 2015, and 2016 also. He hopes to be playing at the 2017 Bikefest also.

In January of 2016 Christian recieved a message from his good friend Chad Barnhill asking him to send a couple videos to audition for a band to go on tour with that summer. Christian sent videos of him playing the leads to Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison, All About Tonight by Blake Shelton, and Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash. A couple weeks later he got a message back saying he got the part to play lead guitar for Forgotten Highway. He toured with them from April 2016 - August 2016 opening for many country greats such as Clint Black, Diomand Rio, Confederate Railroad, and many more!
