About One Man Army

There is more than one artist with this name:

1) One Man Army is a now separated punk rock band who formed in San Francisco, California.
This band is not to be confused with the death metal band One Man Army and the Undead Quartet.
The band was discovered by Billie Joe Armstrong while playing in an East Bay club, and their debut album Dead End Stories was the first release on Adeline Records, Armstrong's label. Together since 1996, rumors began spreading around 2003 that the band had broken up; One Man Army officially called it quits in 2005.

Originally consisting of Jack Dalrymple (guitar, lead vocals), Brandon Pollack (drums), and James Kotter (bass), the members at the time of separation were Jack Dalrymple, Heiko Schrepel (bass, backup vocals) and Chip Hanna (drums).

The band released three albums, Dead End Stories on Adeline Records (1998), Last Word Spoken on Adeline Records (2000), and Rumors and Headlines on BYO Records (2002). The band recorded a split EP with Chicago punk rock band Alkaline Trio in 2004. This was to be their last recorded effort.

The band have a live DVD, "The Show Must Go Off" released by Kung Fu Records in 2003.
