Sybris

Sybris is an experimental indie rock band from Chicago. It consists of Angela Mullenhour on lead vocals and guitar, Eric Mahle on drums, Phil Naumann on guitar, and Shawn Podgurski on bass and vocals.

The band first starting practicing in the spring of 2003, and played their first show on September 1st of the same year. After the unofficial release of "A Time For Hollerin'", Sybris' homemade tour EP, and the band's first east coast tour in the spring of 2004, they released their self titled debut album on Chicago based Flameshovel records August 7th, 2005.

Since then the band has toured extensively in the US and Canada, as well as playing festivals such as Lollapalooza and South by Southwest. Sybris is currently finishing up their sophomore album, and plan to release it late summer of this year.
