About Mikyla Cara Music
Mikyla Cara is UK based singer/songwriter who has recently released her Debut EP ‘Grown’, which you can find on itunes/amazon and all other online stores. Before the EP Mikyla released two singles ‘Over you’ and ‘Radar’ as music videos which can be found on the More 2 Music channel on youtube.
Mikyla spent most of 2016 writing and recording her EP as well as performing in various venues such as ‘The essex live lounge’, ‘Troy Bar’ and a variety of other open mic nights. From these performances she gained further exposure as an artist and also drew inspiration from the experience. The ‘Grown’ EP expresses a range of emotions which tells a story beginning with joy, loss, and despair then ending with empowerment and hope. The EP takes you on an emotional journey from the lyrics to the powerful vocal, ultimately ‘Grown’ offers something that many people can relate to.
Most recently Mikyla has released her third single ‘Grown’ which is a beautiful dedication to her daughter who also features in the music video which you find on the more 2 music youtube channel. Mikyla also performs in venues in and around London gaining further performing experience. Currently she is writing and recording her next couple of singles and will be releasing a video to the single ‘Reptile’ very soon.
Mikyla Cara performed at her debut show ‘Grown Live’ Friday January 27th 2017 at the Hat Factory Luton. She performed all the songs from her EP as well as some other surprise numbers and additional performances.
