Placebo

The best ever - small venue - loyal crowd (we knew they lyrics) - peaceful and high-energy at the same time! A lot of respect. Classics like "For What It's Worth" to recent lke "Surrounded by Spies." "Nancy Boy" was performed live. Perfect venue in beautiful desert country. We loved both nights, one night dancing at the back, the other, standing in the first row with a fiew of Brian and Stefan!

It was the first time I saw Placebo. I met a wonderful family who put me in the front row. I can never thank her enough. I had waited so long for this moment. To this day, I can't even explain what I felt. I was totally amazed. Brian was there in front of me. I had followed his entire tour since his first concert in Mexico, the entire trip across America and his return to Europe. I had learned all their songs. I danced, I sang, I shed a tear. During the concert, I found my teenage soul again (I'm 61 years old). A regret, I love photography, I was not able to take a single photo (with a real camera). I still felt a sadness in Brian's attitude. I really like his songs, his music but also the man he is. I love his voice. He is a wonderful artist.

absolutely epic!! by far and away the best gig I've been to in years!! their new album is outstanding. been a fan since back in the day and they certainly didn't disappoint. saw them in the UK and if money had been no object(!) I'd have been on the next flight to see them on their European leg. just hoping they tour again next year.

What can I say .I went to see MCR and came out a Placebo fan ! As soon as Brian started to sing live I swear my soul left my body , can not explain it . Not a show I will ever forget . One year later still playing the songs every single day .

Played fantastic as always , I was front row this time ! When Brian and Stef play together there is nothing like it ! You could have a million people around you at a show and its just you and them there . I would go weekly if I could as I play every album in my ears twelve hours a day most days and live it sounds the same, in fact it is all I play on my YT .What you see is what you get and that includes when they play live . Its 110% magical .Soulmate for ever . Was well worth fourteen hours travel on six trains to see . The latest album is just beautiful , The Prodical song will make you cry . .

Gute Show von Placebo, aber ein katastrophaler Sound und eine beschissene Location. Komische, verklemmte und unsympathische Menschen bildeten ein absolut unterdurchschnittliches Publikum; Stimmung scheiße, bzw nicht vorhanden gewesen. Habe mich für meine Landsleute und diese kleinbürgerliche Location geschämt . Fress- und Saufstände waren viel zu zahlreich und wahnsinnig hell beleuchtet; diese haben die Szenerie leider absolut dominiert. Ich bin enttäuscht - und hätte die Musik besser im benachbarten Park hören können-gratis, aber ich habe 70€ für diese lieblose und technisch ungenügende Veranstaltung bezahlt. Es war noch nicht mal die Hälfte davon Wert. Schade!!!!

This was (partially unintentionally) the third show of Placebo in one year, after Mantova (it has been a really beautiful concert *****) last year and Amsterdam this year (not that good, due to Ziggo Dome, publicum and band ***). After the third show I personally reached saturation. Nevertheless my impressions: Brian Molko was this time nicer and friendlier than the first two times (he even smiled!!!) and this reduced the pressure on Stefan Olsdal to be nice and friendly to cover the deficiencies of Brian (thx Stefan, you are great!). The concert felt relaxed. Placebo deliver what they promise but nothing more, which is someway okay but a not enough for a band with 30 yrs experience.

The show was great, from the band side. Playing, interacting, atmosphere, caring The venue staff was amazing, polite, helpful, supportive every single minute especially for some of us queuing outside for hours, making the experience really memorable and unique!! The singing sound was too lower than the instruments, I can barely hear Brian’s voice when the guitars were rolling during some songs, as I was standing at the middle, second row.

Placebo is one of my all time favorite bands!!! They don’t play in the states very often - so this was very special!! I was thrilled they played several songs from their new album because I love the new record!! Not sold on Brian’s (lead singer) mustache look, but it doesn’t matter - I’m in love with Placebo music!!!!! ♥️

I’ve seen Placebo on almost every album tour to the U.S & they have always put on an amazing show. Seeing them after so many years I was reminded how good they are live. Hearing the latest material live really made me like those newer songs even more & gave me a better appreciation of them. The 23rd at Brooklyn Steel venue is 1 of 2 nights their playing in NYC & I going to both the 1st night was really good other than Brian Molko pissy attitude about people using their phones during the show was a bit of a downer but other than that they were great . If your a fan of their music & their coming to your area definitely check them out live.

I wish the set was a bit longer and had more of the old classics. All in all great quality performance. Venue-wise, upon entrance and security checks we got treated like an animal herd. Also I wish there was security in the crowd as there was a couple of drunk men behind us trying to grind on me and my other girl friends, which made us uncomfortable and we couldn't enjoy the show 100% as we had to tell them off and look out for each others' backs.

The band was good for sure, I love them. But there were two point I want to say. First was the audio control. In such a big tall and wide hall, there were definitely way too much REVERB and he put to much on low pitch where the drums and bass are. This made the vocal sound really blur and hard to hear. However, the high pitch was too low which made the guitar sound plain and flat. Second, there were too many dumbass there. An aged man hit me in the arm when I took out my phone to check my messages. I’m sure he had assumed that I was trying to take photos. But this is super impolite and I can take this as an insulting behavior and a sign of he wanted to starting a fight. What is more, there were really a quarrel (I am not sure if they had fought by which one of my friend in the front said so) happened during the show later lollll. Way much more for them to improve.

Die Band war grundsätzlich gut. Leider war der Sound sehr schlecht abgemischt. Die Stimme hat man teilweise kaum noch gehört und die Bässe waren so intensiv, dass sie sich überschlagen haben. Es war teilweise nur ein lautes Brummen zu hören. Ausserdem war es in The Hall viel zu warm und zu stickig. Echt schade, da ich mich sehr auf das Konzert gefreut hatte.

Loro sono fantastici, unici, incredibili e ti fanno proprio divertire. Consiglio agli appassionati del genere di vedere nella loro vita almeno un concerto dei Placebo, perché ne vale veramente la pena, non ci sono parole per descrivere quanto siamo stati bene, mio marito ed io, e quanto ci siamo divertiti. Solo grazie alla band e un arrivederci a presto

The show itself was good, but aggressive security staff with flashlights who more or less attacked people as soon as seeing someone even HOLDING a cell phone dragged the experience down considerably. Rules around filming and photography is one thing, but if the rules are this draconian, the venue needs to inform about them clearly (both in advance and on site). And there's no need for security to be so brusque and nasty about the whole thing.

BEAUTIFUL. Brian was funny in his chats with the audience! Plus we got to see the band leave after the show and wave and say hello!!! Also went to record signing in Nottingham a couple days before!! And a group of wonderful Placebo fans clapped when they saw my sign that read "We Came From L.A."!!! It was a moving incredible lovely experience!!

It was amazing. Brian Molko was such an entertainer, and made every single person in the crowd feel welcome. There was plenty of musical diversity, from old classics to newer songs. The hommages to Bowie and Cohen were very moving. Starting with pure morning and ending with running up that hill was so perfect i shed a tear. Or ten. I was there with my mother as it's both our favourite band and i think we'll remember this shared moment forever. Thank you placebo.

A wonderful performance by a great band, mixing old and new effortlessly. They also did a couple of songs with an extra twist in styling. Both Brian and Stefan involved the audience on several occasions and won our hearts. The venue, however, was shocking. the acoustics were terrible. some instruments were impossible to hear and the organisation was a bit of a mess and the beer was very pricey.

I was a little dubious because of some comments I had heard and the fact that the band have several slow songs. However, I could barely get out of bed this morning for the pain and stiffness of having danced like a lunatic for a couple of wonderful hours. I loved it. A great concert by a band who really connected with the audience <3

Everytime Placebo plays is surely that it will be a great concert. This time they've focused in the most recent album, "Loud Like Love", and also their great record "Meds". A very intense concert, that led everybody in the room to go wild and enjoy an incredible concert. If you've never went to a Placebo concert, the next time they get to you town... GO SEE THEM!
