About Oby
Oby is a young, 16 piece, Hip Hop collective out of Chicago, IL that creates what they call "Big Band Hip-Hop." Led by Isaiah (Emcee), they fuse Hip Hop with Gospel and Jazz, which fits, considering the all of the band members are church musicians around the city of Chicago. With Playful lyricism and fusion grooves, Oby brings a very unique and diverse style to the Chicago music scene. Basically a bunch of church kids making music.
