DJ Certified

Marcus D. Burns (born October 13, 1981), professionally known as DJ Certified, is an American DJ/hip hop artist from Shreveport, Louisiana. He was first known as the official DJ for “These Boys” of Calico Records. He is best known for his mixshow on KHAMRadio.com. He is also known for being the primary DJ of the “Affiliationz Tour“, a regional tour created by independent artist Mr. Envi’. DJ Certified along with DJ C-Dubb founded WYDJ (Who’s Ya DJ) Entertainment in 2011. WYDJ Entertainment signed a joint venture deal with Southern Stisles Records in 2013. The first release under the venture was DJ Certified’s mixtape “Taking Em To Tha Bank” in August of 2013. Currently, DJ Certified is working on the release of his first album, which has the same title of his mixtape, featuring original material from up and coming artist as well as himself.
