Jenny Crank

Jenny Crank formed in March of 2012, almost by accident. The three members already knew each other from The Rubber Band, which they formed when they were 10 years old. Over the years they had all played in various other groups, which all disbanded. As of March 2012, Andrew and Malcolm had been jamming together for a few months and had written a bunch of original songs, but had no one to sing or play bass. Luckily, Mike happened to call Malcolm on a random Thursday night that he was having a kegger. Malcolm brought his equipment over and they started to jam, but had no drummer. Naturally, they decided to call up Andrew, and Jenny Crank was born. Over the next year and a half, the band has worked on writing even more original material and learning all their favorite cover songs. The band is extremely versatile in the kinds of gigs they play and audiences they attract. Whether it is a college basement show or a local bar, Jenny Crank delivers every time. In addition to gigging, the band is currently working on studio recordings that will be released in early 2014.
