Losers Weepers

Punchy and adrenaline-fueled, Lafayette’s Losers Weepers strive to be the pinnacle of Louisiana punk rock. Formed in October of 2019, founding members Matthew VanWinkle and Randy Carter started the band as a joke, with no little to no intentions of the band going anywhere. That joke slowly turned into a reality once the writing process for the Finders Keepers EP went underway. This five track EP finds Losers Weepers at their most experimental. With no clear cut vision for the sound of Losers Weepers, Matt and Randy infused elements of hard rock and pop punk with psychedelic guitars and wavy vocals. Tracks like Wasted, Help Me, and Black Sunshine exhibit the softer and experimental side of the EP, while tracks like Throat and Squash have the hard hitting drums and guitars that are guaranteed to get your head banging. Fast forward to February of 2020, Losers Weepers welcomed new members Gavin Broussard and John Callais. With a full lineup, this allowed the band to start performing live shows, which is the best way to get the full Losers Weepers experience. Losers Weepers is at their finest when performing. Electrifying energy courses through each member as they perform which seeps into the crowds. Losers Weepers dropped their single “War” in July of 2020.War will be included on Losers Weepers full length debut album BONEHEADSLURP, which is set to drop in early 2021.
