Emmanuel Ubani

Emmanuel Ubani, born & raised in Lagos, Nigeria, grew up in a house full of inspiring music. The son of a jazz/classical music enthusiast, he grew up discovering a strong bond & connection to music early on in life.

As a young man in 1993, Emmanuel would go on to co-found the Afropop/Christian band known as PaceSetterz where he took on the roles of lead-singer/songwriter for the group. Though eventually the group disbanded, the invaluable experiences along the journey of PaceSetterz helped prepare Emmanuel for the next big steps he’d take with his music and career. He spent much of his time working with praise-teams and choirs in his homeland of Nigeria, as well as trips abroad to London, England where he continued to refine his talents, skills and connection to his faith, music and message.

Making the most important move of his music-career, Emmanuel bravely made the move from London, England to the United States where he would release his first single “Lord Of All” in the same year, in 2011. Finding much love and support for his music and new single, he was incredibly inspired to pursue his dreams and goals of spreading the gospel through his songs and continued to write & record. With stunning new tracks that reflected the true power & passion of his faith, Emmanuel Ubani released his first full-length album Simply P.U.T (Praise Until Triumph) officially in 2014. Creating extraordinary, soulful songs with sounds inspired by his worldly experience from traveling and living within Africa, Europe and the US – he went on tour successfully throughout Nigeria in support of the debut record.

Now based in Cleveland, Ohio – Emmanuel is constantly working on brand-new material while continuing to inspire others and give back to the community by serving as a Worship Leader at Abundant Life International Church in Highland Heights. Proudly married, devout in faith and encouraging others to proclaim their own in singing along with his contemporary gospel music, Emmanuel Ubani is well-recognized for his talents and contributions and continues to incite positivity, faith and love within us all through his powerful words and uplifting songs to this very day.
