Recalling the magic of rock in the '70s and '80s, Rob and Vince have written a catalog of songs about their lives: from small town, teenage awkwardness, to sorting through the nostalgia of chances missed while charting a path through life's hardest turns. The good times and bad decisions are covered here, heart on blood-stained sleeve. The Bar Pilots' sound combines the fierce music tribalism of the Pacific NW in a fateful collision with the southeastern states' turbulent sounds originated in the muddy deltas and shaded in the bayous. The pilots rock for the last row, for the folks in the back, with a muscular delivery that's a little rough around the edges. It's real, it's raw, and when it happens, it's unforgettable.
