Piotr Wyleżoł – outstanding, multi-award winning polish jazz pianist, composer, leader.

His last album “Human Things” was released (March 2018) in the most important and legendary series in polish jazz history “Polish Jazz” !!
Born December 6th, 1976. As a child, he was already winning awards at national piano competitions in Poland. Called the „golden child“ when at 10 and 11 years old, he performed Mozart and Beethoven piano concertos with the Philharmonic Orchestras.
Piotr Wyleżoł is regulary performing all over the world with his own music, and also many great artists.
He graduated Jazz Department on Academy of Music in Katowice. As a student Piotr started to co-operate with legends of polish jazz like Janusz Muniak, or Jarek Smietana and others. Was also laureate of individual award on International Jazz Improvisation Competition, and many other jazz competitions with several groups.
Piotr Wyleżoł is leading bands playing his original music since beginning his activity as an artist. Recordes 9 albums as leader and several dozen with other artists. His last Trio album: “Children's Episodes” released by Fresh Sound Records label, was nominated for a Fryderyk Award (Poland's equivalent of a Grammy Award), in the Jazz Album of The Year category. The latest album Human Things is released in most important and legendary polish jazz collection in history „Polish Jazz“.
Since 2007 Piotr Wyleżoł is teaching jazz piano at the Krakow Academy of Music.
