She’s the best entertainer by far! She’s so engaging and casual, which makes everyone in the audience feel like they are a part of the experience her talent and her musical instincts are incredibly amazing! I am a vocalist and can never get enough of her style and taste! She’s my favorite! And her band (the two ladies)… absolutely outstanding!

Kandace is an amazing artist. I have seen her four times and each time she is outstanding. She played new songs during the show. I don’t know what is more impressive her voice, her skills on the keys, or her song writing skills. I love that Kandace uses all female musicians to accompany her. She does a great job of showcasing the talent of others. She played “Love Got in the Way.” This is the first time since I first saw her live in 2021 that I heard her play it live. It was a great arrangement. I hope she adds “I Thought It Would Be Easier” or her cover of “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” She is an entertaining performer and a tremendously talented artist.

Kandace Springs is a very special music artist. Artist is the key identifier for her. She is excellent on the electronic piano and sings like a honey-dipped angel. She owns the songs she performs and makes them her’s. The female trio had drive and seemed to enjoy playing together. Kandace was very personable. You could tell by the smiles on her face that she is pursuing what God intended for her. A great evening not to be forgotten.

About Kandace Springs

From the first second of Kandace Springs' new album — as those warm, hand-plucked bass notes fill the air — you know you've arrived at something different. And once she starts singing, well, it's pretty clear The Women Who Raised Me exists apart from the normal rules that govern space, time, and talent. While 2018's Indigo LP found the Nashville singer-pianist using modern production to bend sound into new genre forms in collaboration with Karriem Riggins, this set adheres sonically to jazz while Springs travels back and forth across a near-century of music. While the feel is as rich and complex as our host's voice, the concept is simple. Springs covers the women who inspired her while she was growing up, putting her own spin on songs associated with a dozen of the greatest female vocalists of all-time: Ella Fitzgerald, Roberta Flack, Astrud Gilberto, Lauryn Hill, Billie Holiday, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Carmen McRae, Bonnie Raitt, Sade, Nina Simone, and Dusty Springfield.
