Pickens Ivey

In the fall of 2011 Amy Robbins and Wes Morrison became aquainted through their mutual love for music. They became fast friends and decided that they should start a project that would feature both of their vocal stylings and writing. Pulling influences equally from each person as their songs became more complex and well written. The duo has continued writing and playing over the past 2 years, and in January of 2013 they added Dan Richards to the line up, rockin' the bass guitar like nobodies business. Dan provided excellent low tones for over a year for Pickens Ivey but unfortunately due to a busy work and home life Dan had to part ways to focus on some grown up stuff. Pickens Ivey continues as a duo with every intention of growing and growing. An album will be in the works soon! An acoustic duo specializing in Folk,Americana, and Alternative Country originals and covers.
