About Big Fin

'Tether' is the debut EP by Big Fin, the principle musical vehicle for Matthew Reynolds. An incredibly prolific songwriter (rumoured to have written over 250 songs), the songs that make up 'Tether' have been taken from a wealth of material recorded in 2012 after years working behind the scenes as a guitar teacher, producer and guitar tech. Rough demos of this material were circulated amongst friends and after much encouragement, Reynolds set about fervently recording songs and performing as much as possible, both solo and with a band of talented friends helping to bring his honest, fierce and poignant songs to life. 2013 saw Reynolds quickly begin to gain a reputation for his unique, passionate and engaging performances. He was personally asked to be sole tour support for Dry the River on their UK headline tour, as well as completing a successful European tour and support dates with Nizlopi and Chloe Howl, among others. My name, it means nothing. My age, it means less.
