Digable Planets

It was a great show. I've been a fan since early 90s when Rebirth of Slick (Cool like that) dropped. I was a lil kid. In 2020 I listened to the first album and was blown away. To see them live 4 years later is so cool. Plus this was my first hip hop concert. They were amazing on stage. Flow still amazing and they sound just like the cd. They look great too and were all vibing on stage. The opening act Kassa Overall was great too. Def go see them if they come to your city. It's truly worth it.

30 years later from their debut and they still got it. yes sir!

So lucky to finally see these legends. Smooth as ever.

5 stars for the band. 1 star for the venue Bluestone which sounds like a high school gym with a PA sound system to boot. Not an audiophile but damn this place is where sound goes to die

They put on a good show, but I think jazz rap isn't really for me.

DPs brought it once again. It was great seeing them again. Sold out show and they didn’t disappoint. I hope they come back to Seattle soon. Ladybug was amazing. They all were but she was so smooth with the flow last night😉.

Sold out crowd across a broad age-range for these hip-hop legends!

As a fan of the group since I was a kid, it was great to see them perform live. Ladybug Mecca absolutely killed it and her vibe set the tone for the whole room, and Doodle was a great hype man. The live band they had backing them up was a great addition as well, but that's where things kind of went left (in my opinion). The band should have been the only ones playing music; Butterfly had a beat machine that he used during the show and it really didn't add anything useful to the songs...it actually took away from it. It would have been a different story if they performed new music for the crowd, but this was him playing beats and sounds on a beat machine that was totally necessary. The transitions between the band playing and the beat machine were not great or smooth either. There was a point in one of the songs where it switched from band to just beat machine and you saw the crowd lose energy, then when the original song came back, the crowd picked back up again. Please ditch the beat machine, you don't need it! Last thing that was super disappointing was their flagship track Cool Like Dat wasn't played by the band (who definitely could have, they were very capable). But they did perform the song so that was good.

It was here, 21 years ago, that my friend from work and I first saw them in concert and they have gotten even better with age! One of or if the best shows I've seen and a long time! There musical maturity and over all stage presence was noting short of mastery! I pray this will be a new beginning for Doodle, Butter and Mecc!

Great show! They seemed to play most of their first album the first part of the show. They played most of their second album the second half. Memorable songs included Jettin', Graffiti, Pacifics, Black Ego, May 4th Movement ending with Cool like Dat!
