Texas country music rockers, Backseat Molly sum it up in the title cut to their debut album, “Texas Not Tennessee”. This powerhouse 5 piece country/rock band from Palestine Texas is experiencing great success with the release of their debut single, “Texas Not Tennessee”. The song is more an intended defiance than an album name. Backseat Molly came together in November 2007 with a group of friends from Palestine, Texas. While hanging around the Texas Music scene Steven Callaway, lead vocalist/guitarist was determined to put a band together that would have the energy of a rock band but music that could still cater to country music fans. Backseat Molly’s live performances are filled with high energy, foot stomping, Texas country music. The success of Backseat Molly has been due to their superb live, high octane live shows. The band’s style of country, with a rock flare, quickly established them as a regional favorite in the Palestine and east Texas area.
