Jojoflores has come a long way from his humble Montreal roots. Today he has achieved global reach. His YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/therapynights has over 2 million views to date, and his FaceBook live broadcasts reaches over 600 000 people. He is now a tireless ambassador of deep soulful afro dance music to every corner of the world. In addition to being one of the genre’s most respected Dj’s; the energetic DJ held residencies at Nikki Beach, Four Seasons, W Hotel & Cielo NYC. He also owns Junior Filipino Restaurant (Montreal), Café Gotsoul, CEO of Gotsoul (events, music & merchandise) and co-founder of the infamous Therapy soirees. Along the way, he’s found time to own a club, a record shop; and produce numerous records and CD compilations.
Jojoflores’ reputation for rocking a dance floor has rewarded him with several accolades and opportunities over the years: Multiple residencies at high profile events & famed clubs world wide, including Hermes Rio De Janeiro boutique opening, TIFF Official Opening Galas (Toronto), McLaren & Ferrari Canada, Swiss Red Cross, Nikki Beach (St Barts, Koh Samui & Cabo San Lucas), Deep in Los Angeles along with venues in Melbourne, Dubai, Brazil, & Athens. His dedication and hard work have also garnered him a corporate client list, which includes: Apple, Hugo Boss, Vanity Fair, Details Magazine, Red Bull Racing, MAC, and The Delano Hotel. He has headlined events with Grace Jones, John Legend, The Jacksons, Caetano Veloso, Russell Peters, Wyclef Jean, Jody Watley, Jazzy Jeff and not to mention he’s become international designers Dsquared & Greta Constantine’s go-to DJ in Canada.
Over the last 30 years jojoflores has worked his way up from 15 year-old resident to jet-setting icon. Through it all, he has remained steadfastly passionate about both his music and profession. With his transition into the new age of technology, jojoflores has signaled that he plans to remain relevant and aggressive while still “rocking the dance floor” for audiences the world over.
