Behind the name Rockettothesky, we find a norwegian girl named Jenny Hval. Before she moved to Australia in 2000, she played in the Norwegian band Shellyz Raven (now called Ask Embla). In Australia she played in different bands. The songs recorded with the band "Folding for Air" already remind a lot on Rockettothesky.
Then she moved back home to Norway, where she now plays all of the instruments in Rockettothesky. Live she often plays alone, giving audiences a very intimate musical experience.
