The Junktones

The Junktones are a punk rock band from Heidelberg, Germany. The members are Bill Kill (guitar), Curtis Baby (guitar), Bootsy (bass,vocals) and "Tater" Todd (drums), and Slice McFisto (lead vocals). Formed in 2007 originally as a 3 piece, The Junktones started playing live shows shortly thereafter and recorded their first album "Your Boyfriend's an Asshole" in 2007. With the addition of Sean E. Cash in 2009, the band went to the studio in late 2011 and recorded their 2nd album entitled "American Paranoia". With over 100 shows under their belt, The Junktones have gained much knowledge and experience when it comes to entertaining their fans. Always giving 100% and displaying raw emotion and passion, The Junktones stand out and are remembered not only for those aspects but also for the black leather jackets, pink and black ties, and black jeans and chucks. They've been featured on various radio stations, podcasts, compilation albums, and even an appearance on Comedy Central's "The Roast of David Hasselhoff." The Junktones play fast punk rock in the vein of the earlier 80's style hardcore music (Circle Jerks, Black Flag, Minor Threat etc) with a hint of Motorhead and The Ramones. Humor is a big factor in all of their songs and while being aggressive in their style of music, they still make you laugh about the various topics of their songs and manage to entertain even the least punk rock enthusiastic crowds. The last few years were plagued with continued lineup changes and wasting too much time.
