WHY DESPERADOS

ITA: I Desperados avviano il progetto della band nel Maggio 2012. Il nome Why Desperados gli è uscito facile, perché già prima, infatti, erano disperati, forse più di ora. Spendendo la maggior parte del loro tempo in un ex-garage adibito a sala prove, tra una strada statale e la linea ferroviaria, arredato con il più grezzo gusto rock 'n' roll, stendono brani influenzati dalla tradizione rock desertica ma non solo. Kyuss, Unida, Fu Manchu e altre classiche band stoner sono i loro punti di riferimento, ma anche rock anni '70, metal, un po' di psichedelia e qualcos' altro. A fine 2012 viene messa on-line la loro prima demo. Nel frattempo si fanno spazio nell' ambiente indipendente, soprattutto tra le province di Novara e Varese, attraverso una buona attività live, (Meltin' Pop di Arona, Arlecchino Vedano Olona, Estabì Ornavasso, Oleggio Free Tribe Festival e altri...). Esattamente un anno dopo la nascita della band Niccolò Nk Maggio dei Terza Pietra dal Sole registra e produce il singolo “Careless”. A Marzo 2014 esce il primo EP, "Sand Flood" disponibile in streaming e in CD. Nonostante restino affezionati alla loro base, dove continuano a sviluppare sempre nuova musica, i cinque membri si esprimono al meglio nei live: potenti e avvolgenti, atmosferici e sudati. ENG: The Desperados starts the band project in may 2012. The name WD comes easy, because before they were desperates already, maybe more than now. Spending the majority of their time into an old workshop garage set up as a band studio, between the highway and the railroad, furnished with the most rough rnr style, they start to make music influenced by the desert rock tradition. Kyuss, Unida, Fu Manchu and other classic stoner band are their milestones, but also the 70's rock, metal and a little bit of psychedelic stuff. At the end of 2012, they put online their fist demo. In that period they also starts a good live activity which leads the five guys to make their way in the indipendent scene ( places like: Meltin Pop – Arona // Arlecchino – Vedano Olona // Estabì – Ornavasso // Oleggio Free Tribe Festival and many others ). One year after the birth of the band, Mr. Niccolò NK Maggio from the band Terza Pietra Dal Sole recorded and produced the single “ Careless”. Despite the desperados are radicated into their headquarter, where they're always trying to produce and develop new music, the five guys put their best into live performances : powerful and enveloping, atmospheric and sweaty.
