As good as the last two times in Hamburg. But the sound was actually a notch better in Hamburg.

Great performance by Squid but it was ruined by the Opera House sound team. Too loud, all low frequency mushed together.

What a band, what a concert! Squid is not only a band that makes great albums but they're also a fucking band on stage. Porbably the best concert I've seen these 2 last years.

Absolutely mint! Took risks playing songs off the new album before it released, making it a really unique show and put the crowd on a level playing field rather than doing wall-to-wall bangers and excluding people who'd come for Focus rather than Squid specifically. Always impressed by a band who do their own load-in and out, and made time for the fans who'd travelled to see them. Not the best stage for such atmospheric music as it was inside a tent, but the lads made the best of it and made my journey worthwhile. The rest of the day at the festival had a great vibe too and I'm looking at visiting for the whole thing next year!

A band with a real future. They cleverly made up for a lack of back catalogue with sustained innovative links. This could be down to the venue but we needed more volume to maintain attention and I’m mystified why no encore and no houseplants!
