Julie Holmes Music

At an early age, Julie caught the music bug. Whether it was singing along to Carry On My Wayward Son in her father's truck, or belting "Puff the Magic Dragon" when she thought no one could hear, singing has always been close to her heart. Eventually, the stage fright wore off and she was able to graduate from shower singing to embark upon her musical career. Julie studied Cognitive Science and Music Business at the University of Georgia. The Music Business program yielded such opportunities as live sound internships, production classes, and the connections to work as a studio musician and full-time performer. Along with singing, she plays guitar and bass with a dash of viola. Though she loves to adapt contemporary songs into her own style, her roots are primarily in funk and soul; anything that makes you move or moves you.
