BlackRain

For over two decades, BlackRain has embodied the flame of French hard rock — a flame that refuses to die out, that spits fire, and pulses with razor-sharp riffs and anthemic choruses shouted at full volume.

Born in the early 2000s, this band from Annecy quickly established itself as a cornerstone of the French rock scene, with high-voltage concerts and hard-hitting albums fueled by the raw energy of glam, heavy, and hard rock. Influenced by giants like Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, and Judas Priest, BlackRain’s members have never denied their roots — they’ve reinvented them in their own style, with a flamboyant image and a unique sound, powered especially by the massive vocal range of their frontman, Swan Hellion.

Unwilling to compromise, BlackRain dominates the stage as a true live machine, with meticulous staging, striking looks, and raw energy. The band is one of the few in France to fully embrace and proudly claim its glam and sleaze heritage, while maintaining the sincerity and intensity that make every appearance hit home. Their memorable performance on the TV show La France a un Incroyable Talent in 2012 brought them into the national spotlight, but it’s on stage, in front of their loyal fan base, that BlackRain truly comes alive.

From their debut album to their latest release Orphan of the Light, they’ve continued to rise, multiplying tours across Europe, festival appearances, explosive collaborations, and iconic tracks that have become anthems for a loyal army of fans — a real family. But beyond the stage, BlackRain is also a way of life: no compromise, live loud, and crank the amps to eleven. They’re now joined by Franky Costanza, legendary drummer from Dagoba, and Jerem G, the new force of shredding.

In 2026, they’ll celebrate 20 years of recorded music with a spectacular new show, once again proving that hard rock isn’t dead — its name is BlackRain.
