Tigran Hamasyan

Great show, the band was very tight and the venue ( boulder theater was really nice . one small criticism- in the sections where tigran and the bass were plying heavy bass lines together it sounds great. when tigran was playing more melodically it was a little hard to hear his right hand playing - not sure if this was an EQ thing or they needed a second mic for the mid and high range of the piano but it was small issue and did not dampen my enjoyment of the show

You're in for a world-class concert, yet it exceeds your expectations. The trio are just on another level. Incredibly talented, yet humble and willing to talk with the audience after the concert. Totally recommend it.

High caliber jazz trio at work. Brought on stage a local Philly saxophonist, Emmanuel Wilkins, I made it seem like they've been playing for decades together. Very enjoyable, very easy style, and very energetic within a casual milieu.
