The Supertones

The Supertones are rapidly establishing themselves as one of the most in demand cover bands around, bringing their Style and Energy to venues throughout the country. The Supertones are not just your average cover band, but an exciting and energetic pop/rock act that not only play but perform live, with a mix of new and old rock, pop and classic anthems. The Supertones can guarantee a lively, entertaining and energetic performance no matter what the occasion, playing a wide variety of cover music ranging from ACDC, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, U2, Foo Fighters, The Police, The Black Keys, The Coranas, Calvin Harris, Blink 182, Example, Mumford and Sons, Bruno Mars and The Lumineers to name just a few. All four of the members of The Supertones hail from Co. Meath. Eoin Scott (Guitar/Keys & Lead Vocals), Abel Tyrell (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Robbie Kennedy (Bass Guitar & Vocals) and Ger Ennis (Drums & Vocals). Each member brings a unique set of talents and abilities to the group which makes The Supertones stand out from your average covers band. Lead vocalist Eoin Scott is a multi instrumentalist and has a long musical background culminating in the opening of his own music school in 2010. He has the ability to engage a crowd and keep the show going for the whole night. On Bass, Robbie Kennedy always delivers that low end sound only certain bass musicians are capable of. He is comfortable playing lead or rhythm guitar and even drums on occasions; Robbie is the backbone of the band. Drummer Ger Ennis’s solid beats create the ideal background that joins all the pieces together to make The Supertones a formidable four piece cover band . The Supertones play numerous venues around the country, including Whelan’s of Wexford Street, Bridge House Tullamore, The Laurels Clondalkin, The Kings Head Galway, The Piano Bar Athlone, The Palace Navan , The Abberley Lounge Tallaght , The Courtyard Leixlip, and Graces of Naas to name a few. The Supertones offer something for every age group and can cater for all types of occasions, performing college gigs, festivals, corporate events and weddings.
